LittleBigPlanet is quite a fun game, I’m having a blast playing it.  There is on odd quirk I’ve run into.  You see, the tutorials require you to perform a trick before you get your rewards.  There is one in particular that I was stuck on the other night.  I watched the tutorial video for 20 seconds, or whatever it was, then I went over to obey the bubble words.  This was the tutorial for sound effects (animal noises, etc.).  The quest is to put a sound effect of a chimp on a cardboard ape.  I must have stuck that sound gadget on the ape thing fifty times before I gave up and stomped to the computer room to google my problem.  I guess everyone else got it right away, because it took me ten minutes at least to find this little gem, and that didn’t even come straight off of google, the guy who posted it made another comment and linked to it and I followed that.

So, I’m making this post and trying to hit all of the keywords that are required, in the event that some other unlucky googler has the same problem I did.  The problem is with the Sound Effect Tutorial and sometimes you Cannot Complete the Sound Effect Tutorial.  maybe you “do not get prize for sound effect tutorial”.  If that happens to you, follow these steps:

1. Place sound effect icon.
2. Exit popit menu completely
3. select the gadget with the cursor and tweak it.
